Callum v Imtiaz 1 - CVI1 This match is just 8 mins of submission wrestling in the blue mat room. This is an older match recently rediscovered. Callum wear black squares with white stripes whilst Imtiaz is in blue and yellow trunks. It is a very quick start & Callum taps out of an arm lock after a mere 11 seconds! The resumption has Callum in a light hearted vein as he clowns around both verbally & physically for a few moments until eventually clamping on a head lock at about 1:45 in. Imtiaz taps out now. They reconnect in the kneeling position with Callum still showing the lead. He takes Imtiaz’s head between his powerful thighs and, clearly, exerts some force. Imtiaz, however, is resilient. He bridges and moves around to minimise the pressure and to attempt an escape. It’s an unsuccessful attempt and Imtiaz must tap out again. Again they restart whilst kneeling but Imtiaz is quickly in control this time. He employs his slender yet seemingly equally strong legs to elicit a submission from the now standing Callum. This next time they meet standing and, whilst the clowning is gone, a handshake heralds the new round. The bullish Callum attempts to lead now but the action is frenetic from them both as he takes a resisting Imtiaz down. Imtiaz is trapped between those thighs again and is literally climbing the walls in pursuit of relief. This is, I think, the longest sequence of this match.
